  4 Baosteel

Baosteel is one of the largest steel providers around the world. Founded in 1978, Baosteel Group Corporation is headquartered in Pudong, Shanghai, China. It contains 130, 401 employees and produces steel products such as special steel, stainless steel, carbon steel that would be exporting to more than 40 countries. It supplies for areas like automobile, petrochemical, transportation, nuclear power, household appliances, metalwork, energy, manufacture of machinery, electronic instruments and astronautics. it has Steel production around 40 mt/annum. 


.5. Wuhan Iron and Steel Group

Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Corporation is headquartered in Wuhan, Hubei, People's Republic of China. This company was established in the year 1958 and it is popularly known as China's first supergiant steel and Iron complex. In addition, the company provides silicon products, cold-rolled products, hot-rolled products, profile products, plate products and wire rod products etc..in this company On 7 July 2016, after a heavy net loss in 2015, Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation also announced the group would reduce their production capacity by 4.42 million metric tons, which Wuhan Iron and Steel Company would be cut 1.40 million metric tons, or about 31.7% of the group total.

 6. Posco

Pohang Iron and Steel Company, generally referred to as POSCO. This company was established in the year 1968 and has become one of the world’s largest steel manufacturers.
Headquarted in Pohang, South Korea, POSCO operates two world's largest mills located in Pohang and Gwangyang which jointly produces 33.7 million tons of steel per annum. Flat steel, long steel, plates and wires are its major products.in recent time  it is steel king in production.
On June 30, 2006, POSCO completed the construction of its sixth continuous galvanizing line (CGL) at its gwagyang mill in the south jello province With this new addition, POSCO becomes the no.2 producer of sheet-steel just behind arelermittal.

7. Jiangsu Shagang



Jiangsu Shagang is one of the top five China’s steel producers. It is located in hangjiagang, Jiangsu, China was formed in 1975..Iron and steel are girding China's economic development and Jiangsu Shagang is big part of that process. The company processes some 18 million tons of iron annually in order to roll out about 23 million tons of steel each year, making it one of China's top-five steel producers. Jiangsu Shagang's product line includes Reberwire rodsslabs, and hot-rolled coils. In addition to iron and steel, Jiangsu Shagang produces stainless steel and zinc-plated steel sheets. Since 2006, the company has acquired four smaller, rival steel companies, and it now ranks as China's largest private steel producer.

Tata Steel Group is founded by Jamsetji in 1868. Headquartered in India, Tata companies employ over 581,470 people worldwide. The revenue of Tata companies was $103.27 billion (around Rs. 624,757 Crore) in 2013-14, with 67.2 percent of this coming from businesses outside India.It is one of the top steel producing companies globally with annual crude steel deliveries of 23.88 million tonnes (in FY17), and the second largest steel company in India jsw 16mt /annum.


9.  HYUNDAI Steel Company

Hyundai Steel Company is established as Korea’s first steelmaker in 1953 and it has paved the way for sustainable growth by boosting blast furnace business as a new growth engine.Hyundai Steel, in 2004, had purchased the facilities of the defunct Hanbo Steel in Dangjin. They have taken the once rundown steel company and has refurnished and revitalised its facilities to make it one of the most efficient steel plants in Korea. Currently HSC is operating 3 blast furnaces at Dangjin. The total annual capacity of the company reaches 22 million tonnes per annum[2] and the Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group will become the only car maker with an in-house steel mill to supply steel sheets for the production of automobiles.

10. JFE Steel Corporation

JFE Steel Corporation was founded in 1950 and is based in Tokyo, Japan. This company was formerly known as Kawasaki Steel Corporation and changed its name to JFE Steel Corporation in April 2003.  The company provides steel sheets, electrical sheets, shapes, pipes and tubes, stainless products, steel bars and wire rods etc.JFE Engineering Corporation is developing a quick charge system  that it claims can take a battery from zero charge to 50% full in about 3 minutes. It has two batteries, one that stores electrical energy from the grid and another that delivers it to the car at extremely high current (500-600 amps), which allows it to use a low-voltagepower supply.[6] The company claims that even though one station costs about $63,000, that’s roughly 40% less than the competing chedemo system.[7]
